BM TRADA Q-Mark app for iPhone and iPad

BM TRADAs Q-Mark Job Registration app is offered free to members of our Q-Mark schemes. It allows maintainers to easily register fire door installations, fire stopping installations or fire door maintenance activities on the job.

Users can create registrations, mark them as complete and then generate email certificates for the buildings primary contact, confirming that the registration has been performed in line with the scheme.

Users that are part of the fire door maintenance scheme can manage reports, carry out door set surveys on individual doors and obtain agreement from the responsible person in a number of ways.

The app requires users to have a BM TRADA Job Registration web account. An account can be granted to members of the appropriate BM TRADA Q-Mark scheme for free.

Login

∙ Before using the app, you are required to log in with the credentials assigned to you for your web account.
∙ Once logged in, registrations can be created without internet access.

Sites

∙ Sites represent buildings within which the installations or activities are recorded.
∙ Create new sites in the app or use existing sites on your web account.

Fire Door Installations

∙ Create fire door installation reports.
∙ Add doors to reports.
∙ Attach photos to doors.
∙ Mark reports as complete to generate an email certificate via your web account.

Fire Stopping Installation

∙ Create fire stopping installation reports.
∙ Add seal components to reports.
∙ Attach before and after photos to reports.
∙ Mark reports as complete to generate an email certificate via your web account.

Fire Door Maintenance

∙ Create fire door maintenance reports or use existing reports from your web account.
∙ Add doors to reports.
∙ Attach photos to doors.
∙ Record door set surveys.
∙ Designate that the required maintenance and ART is complete for each door and then mark the whole report as complete. An email certificate can then be generated via your web account.
∙ Obtain agreement from the responsible person via email (requires internet connection).
∙ Obtain an agreement signature from the responsible person directly on your device (requires internet connection).

Generating Certificates

∙ Reports can be marked as complete by pressing the mail icon in the navigation bar.
∙ Once a report has been marked as complete, it is designated that you are ready to proceed in generating an email certificate for the primary contact.
∙ The application gives you the option to generate certificates for each complete report individually, or for all complete reports automatically in a queue.
∙ Note that processing reports in a queue may take a while depending on the number of reports.
∙ Note that once a report has been marked as complete it is no longer editable.

∙ Updating from version 1.1.x to version 1.2.x may result in loss of FDM data. Please make sure that your reports have been uploaded to your web account before updating to avoid potential issues.
